เมื่อวันที่ 2 พ.ค.68 นพ.ณรงค์ จันทร์แก้ว นายแพทย์สาธารณสุขจังหวัดมุกดาหาร เปิดเผยถึงสถานการณ์เฝ้าระวังโรคแอนแทรกซ์ ที่มีผู้เสียชีวิต 1 ราย จากการชำแหละและรับประทานเนื้อวัวดิบ ว่า ขณะนี้นายอำเภอดอนตาล จ.มุกดาหาร ประกาศพื้นที่ควบคุมโรคเฉพาะ อ.ดอนตาล เนื่องจากผู้ที่สัมผัสโรคยังอยู่ในพื้นที่ ไม่ได้เดินทางออกไปที่อื่น แต่ทางจ.มุกดาหาร ประสานจังหวัดใกล้เคียงให้เฝ้าระวังโรคเพิ่มเติม คือ อำนาจเจริญ และกาฬสินธุ์

นพ.ณรงค์ กล่าวว่า สถานการณ์ผู้ป่วยโรคแอนแทรกซ์ล่าสุด มีผู้เสียชีวิตสะสม 1 ราย เป็นชายอายุ 53 ปี ที่นำเสนอข้อมูลไปแล้ว และมีผู้เข้าข่ายสงสัยติดเชื้อ 3 ราย วันนี้ผลการตรวจทางห้องปฏิบัติการ ด้วยวิธี RT-PCR พบว่ามี 1 ราย ให้ผลบวก ยืนยันการติดเชื้อโรคแอนแทรกซ์ ส่วนอีก 2 ราย คาดว่าผลจะออกในวันพรุ่งนี้ (3 พ.ค.)

นพ.ณรงค์ กล่าวต่อว่า สำหรับผู้ป่วย 1 รายที่ได้รับการยืนยันทางห้องปฏิบัติการ เป็นชายอายุ 53 ปี ซึ่งเป็นเพื่อนกับผู้เสียชีวิตรายก่อนหน้า มีประวัติการชำแหละเนื้อสัตว์ และทานเนื้อวัวดิบร่วมกันกับผู้เสียชีวิต

โดยขณะนี้เริ่มมีอาการแสดงคือมีแผลบริเวณมือขวา มีผื่นตามร่างกาย แต่ด้วยผู้ป่วยไม่มีโรคประจำตัว อาการจึงไม่รุนแรงมาก แพทย์จึงให้การรักษาด้วยยากินและยาฉีด ซึ่งทางโรงพยาบาล(รพ.) มุกดาหาร จะรักษาผู้ป่วยจนหาย โดยจะใช้เวลาประมาณ 2 สัปดาห์ โดยต้องเฝ้าระวังอาการแทรกซ้อนอย่างต่อเนื่อง

 

นพ.ณรงค์ กล่าวว่า สำหรับจำนวนผู้ที่สัมผัสโรคแอนแทรกซ์ ใน จ.มุกดาหาร ยังเป็นผู้ที่สัมผัสโรคจากเหตุการณ์เดียวกัน วันนี้คัดกรองโรคเพิ่มเติม พบว่ามีผู้สัมผัสโรคสะสม 638 ราย ซึ่งเป็นผู้ที่มีประวัติการชำแหละสัตว์ และกินเนื้อดิบ ซึ่ง สสจ.มุกดาหาร จะจ่ายยา Doxycycline ให้กับผู้สัมผัสโรคทุกราย ซึ่งเป็นยารับประทานครั้งละ 1 เม็ด วันละ 2 ครั้ง เวลาเช้าและเย็น โดยจะต้องกินต่อเนื่องเป็นเวลา 7 วัน
